Fish Gone Bad

Hey there, fellow PunderStruck fans! I'm Dashiell Mulé, and I'll be your tour guide through the weird world of PunderStruck.

Let's get straight to comics with this post. I'll start us off with my most recent Sunday strip, and quite an obscure joke:

I personally think that if you just take a moment to look over the strip, you'll get the joke immediately, but I will admit that this one is somewhat obscure to some of the public. This strip is supposed to be showing a player from the New York Rangers (my least favorite hockey team). The pun probably isn't as funny now that it's been explained to you, but I'll take unamused readers over irate and confused ones.

As for the style, I've found that lately I've been getting away from the puns that built the strip (it is PunderStruck, after all). I haven't been trying to stop punning, but I've just started gravitating towards different styles. However, I still won't pass up a good idea for a pun strip, so hence the "Lone Ranger".

Many of you may not know this about the strip, but I actually write the strips close to a month before I actually add them to the website. Now, I don't do this because of newspaper deadlines, as I don't have a syndicate, I just like the idea of having a few cushion strips in case I want to take a day off to watch movies in languages I don't understand while eating Cheetos.
