Hello and welcome back to another exciting installment of the PunderStruck blog! In the words of Aaron Lewis, It's been awhile, so I've got an extra wordy monologue along with something to spice up the normal comics with commentary. Let's begin!

First off, a quick update on the blog. I've been experimenting with other stuff lately, so I haven't been keeping up with these posts (I normally try to do at least one every week). It's hard enough trying to remember and get myself to update the actual comics on here. That's why I think I'll step back from this blog a bit.

Mostly I just want to try out other things and have more time for all the other projects I'm working on. I won't just stop posting though (I know you need me). I think one post every 3-5 weeks (or once a month, if you like that better) sounds reasonable to me.

In addition to less obligation, each post will probably have more comedic "Meat on the bone," so to speak. I might also be able to show some other things that I create, because I've got some twisted junk collecting dust in a cabinet like the toys in Toy Story.

The condensed version (Or "point," as some would have me call it) of this update? less post, more meat on bone, me and you happy. Good.

Ok, let's take a breather, then it's time for a different comics with commentary.

Alright, folks! With baseball season in full swing, I thought it would be fun to do a vaguely baseball-themed Comics With Commentary, so without further ado, here's a hit strip and a miss strip.

HIT: Bob Goes Full "Burbs" on Christmas

I don't have any actual feedback telling me that this strip was a hit, but Bob's expression here is just too priceless. Also, feel free to fact-check me on this one, but I believe this is one of the few Christmas strips I did during winter, which has to count for something (After this one, I self-corrected shortly after with an easter strip).

MISS: This mess.

You can't see it, but I'm writhing in discomfort due to the sheer quantity of cringe this strip evokes in me. I honestly don't even think I published this one (Exclusive content?!). That's how bad it was and still is. It's honestly not even an awful joke. It's just so unbelievably stereotypical and bland. Not to mention the fact that the artwork is scrappy at best, and this one is from back when I signed my name like Salvador Dali and used a panel format that resembled an iPod touch.

Well, that's it for today, so hopefully you're satisfied for the next 3-5 weeks. Unless I want it to be 3-6 weeks. You'll find out next post...MWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Adios!
